Bärnhof: Marissa & David
Bärnhof Münzbach: A day as it should be
I could write "one of the most emotional days of my career" now - but honestly: It was just a really good wedding day. Bärnhof sits among hills, looks like something out of a picture book, and yes, the atmosphere really is right.
Getting Ready - nervousness included
Morning at the getting ready: Hair, makeup, the usual suspects. I film in the background and try not to get in the way. The bride was more relaxed than I expected, but you could tell: Things are about to get real. These small, nervous moments are honestly the best part of my job.
Ceremony on the lawn - kitsch alert? No, it was beautiful
Then the ceremony in the middle of the lawn. I thought at first: "Oh God, hopefully this won't be too cheesy." It wasn't. It was just beautiful. The moment when the groom sees his bride? You can't fake that. It only happens once, and I happened to be there with my camera.
Cocktail and golden hour - Instagram would be proud
After the ceremony, relaxed vibes at the cocktail hour. The guests walked back and forth between the farmhouse and nature, me following with the camera. When golden hour came, I thought: "Okay, this is pretty Instagram-worthy." But whatever, it just looked good.
Dinner in the vault - gimbal goes brrrr
Evening in the old vaults: Here I could show that my gimbal can do more than just glide through the area shake-free. Speeches, food, first dance attempts - all there. I snuck through the rooms like a ninja, just with more gear.
First dance - why I do this
The first dance was my final moment. In that moment I remembered again: This is why I film weddings. Not because of perfect technique, but because of these real moments where everything else doesn't matter.
End of the day: Gear packed, tired, but satisfied. Bärnhof has its story, but in the end it's the people who tell it. And I love filming them.
