Hey,
my name is Matthias!
This is the story of how I became a videographer.
I discovered my passion for storytelling through moving images early on. What started as a hobby became a passion and eventually my profession as a videographer.
Before dedicating myself fully to film production, I studied German and Biology in Vienna and worked as a teacher. Storytelling has been part of my journey for a long time, only the medium has changed. After successfully completing a diploma course in film production, I founded my own company: Dreh & Bild.
Today, I create unapologetically emotional wedding films for couples who want to feel everything all over again. For me, genuine storytelling is at the heart of everything: it's not just about capturing moments, but making them feel alive and tangible.

4 things that make me, well, me:
- I love gaming and have lost count of how many times I've played through Baldur's Gate 3 (#Team Astarion!).
- One of my quirks (and I'm convinced many people share this) is constantly buying new books even though my unread pile is already sky high.
- My love for coffee only awakened when i turned 30 and now I'm wondering how I survived all those years without it... and why I can't sleep LoL.
- My 2 cats (Friederike & Fuchs) and my dog (Sanji) bring a lot of chaos but also joy into my life.
Bonus facts: My favorite food changes every two weeks, Coke is my go-to drink, and Jennifer Rostock is on repeat.
